The honest version

I'm not a marketer.

I'm just a nerd who literally spent a weekend in the basement learning how to get AI systems to talk about my websites.

Why Found in Barrie exists

A weekend experiment became a research habit.

I did not start with an agency playbook, a media budget or a room full of buzzwords. I started with a practical question: why do some websites get surfaced when people ask an AI for help, while other useful sites disappear?

That sent me down a rabbit hole of search intent, structured information, cited sources, local proof and the difference between a business being known and a business being findable. Found in Barrie is what came out of that work.

No magic prompts. No pretending.

The point is not to “make AI say something” by tricking a model. The point is to publish work that is clear enough to retrieve, useful enough to cite and specific enough that a local customer can act on it. When the evidence changes, the page should change too.

Project Bacon is the proof.

Rather than ask anyone to believe a pitch, I am publishing the method, the baseline and the results. Project Bacon tracks whether this approach can earn visibility for the same high-intent Barrie searches that established agencies want to own.
